Deep learning in action (in association with Munich IEEE/ACM student group)

Details
Dear Meetup Members:
I’m excited to announce the upcoming event “Deep Learning in Action”, hosted by the Munich IEEE/ACM computer science student club, as soon as next Wednesday!
Many thanks in advance to the organisers around David Dao, which were so kind to provide our meetup with hundred seats.
And many thanks to TrustYou and TNG for sponsoring this event!
The event will take place at
Campus Garching
Hörsaal 3, Informatik Gebäude
Boltzmannstraße 3, Munich
from 5.45 - 9:00 PM at the 24th of June (hurry up saving your seat!).
The schedule so far:
- Caner Hazırbaş PhD Student, Chair for Computer Vision, TUM
Deep Learning in Computer Vision
Caner received his Computer Engineering Bachelors Degree at Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul and Informatics Masters Degree at the Technical University, Munich (TU München). During his study, he focused on object recognition and detection in the fields of computer vision and machine learning. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Computer Vision Group, TU Munich under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Daniel Cremers. He is interested in deep learning, object detection/recognition, semantic scene understanding.
- Sebastian Ebert PhD Student, Chair for NLP, LMU
Deep Learning in Natural Language Processing
Sebastian is a PhD Student at Hinrich Schütze's Lab at Ludwig Maximilian University Munich. His research is about Sentiment Analysis, Deep Learning and Neural Language Models.
- Huang Xiao PhD Student, Chair for IT Security, TUM
Causative Adversarial Learning
Huang is a PhD Student at the IT Security Chair at TUM. His research includes adversarial learning theory, robust learning, semi-supervised learning, nonparametric learning, and other general machine learning methods.
