Do books still matter?
Have you ever wanted to publish a book?
A book launch and panel discussion on publishing in the AI age — Times Square, Thursday, October 8th, 2026

Agentic AI is automating every layer of the tech stack — code, infrastructure, testing, ops. If AI writes the code, drafts the docs, and answers the question before you finish typing it — do books still matter? That's the question we're putting to 60 - 80 humans from the NYC AI tech scene — startup founders, tech leaders and practitioners, AI specialists on October 8th.

Justin Leto, author of Data Engineering with Generative and Agentic AI on AWS (Apress, 2026), shares his journey as a first-time author. Apress commissioning editor Shaul Elson joins from the publishing side. Ben Schreiner, Head of AI and Modern Data Strategy - AWS, moderates. They take on the topic head-on and press into the harder question underneath it: what does it actually take to make enterprise data ready for generative and agentic AI?

Bonus Presentation: "Who is legally responsible for an AI agent?"
Juhi Parsana from Pearl Cohen will walk through a practical look at emerging legal questions surrounding AI agents that can act on behalf of users and businesses.
