Please do not come to the venue as we will not be able to accommodate you at the event. It’s time to bring your GenAI ideas to life! At this AI Buildathon by Deep Tech Stars in collaboration with Google for Developers, developers will come together to build GenAI applications with Google Gemini and demo it to judges. This is like a day-long hackathon but super focussed on building out your idea, so you can expect tons of support and guidance from Google experts, healthy competition from top developers to drive you, and recognition and bragging rights for the winners!
So if you have an interesting idea for an application or you are a developer looking to team up with others to build something cool, your opportunity has arrived.

REGISTRATION
Please apply by filling in this form: https://forms.gle/fYjQnsSiCUw2VYt39. We may reach out to you if we need more information or clarifications during the shortlisting process. If you are shortlisted, you will receive an official invitation from us with further instructions, no later than May 20, 2024. Overall, 15 teams will be invited to the AI Buildathon, which will take place at the Google office in Bengaluru.
PREREQUISITES
You will need to satisfy the following prerequisites to participate:
- You must apply as a team of minimum 2 people and maximum 4 people. If you need help with finding team members, join our Whatsapp group here to find like-minded people with GenAI ideas and/or skills: https://bit.ly/4aYeKqT
- Majority of the team must be working professionals or entrepreneurs. At most 1 team member can be a student
- You need to have an idea for a primarily GenAI-driven application. The idea can be from any domain but it must be a new idea, i.e. you have not already built something on this on Gemini. Your objective at this AI Buildathon is to develop the proof of concept for this idea
- Your team must have prior experience working with LLMs. Bonus if you have already worked with Gemini
- Every team member must have registered on the waitlist for the soon-to-be-launched Deep Tech Stars app: www.deeptechstars.com

This AI Buildathon is free to take part in but only shortlisted teams will receive the invitation to participate. RSVPing on this Meetup page will not reserve your seat. Please note that we will not be able to accommodate any walk-ins for this event.
