Vibe Coding Hackathon with Firebase Studio & Gemini

3 hours, 100 teams (but only 1 person per team) - build and launch a product from scratch!

At this mini hackathon, AI developers, SW developers, product managers, or anyone else can quickly vibe code an idea into a working product using Gemini and Firebase Studio. Expect tons of support and guidance from Google experts, healthy competition from all participants, and goodies + bragging rights for the winners.

So if you have an interesting idea for an application but haven’t gotten around to building it, this is your best opportunity to make it happen!

AGENDA:
10:00 AM - Security check, badge distribution, light snacks
11:00 AM - Talk on Firebase Studio, Gemini, deployment process and hackathon rules
12:30 PM - Hackathon and project submission
2:30 PM - Lunch
3:30 PM - Wrap-up

If you are shortlisted, you will receive an official invitation from us with further instructions, no later than Sep 15, 2025. Overall, 100 people will be invited to the hackathon, which will take place at the Google office in Bengaluru.

RULES:

1. This is open to working professionals from any field/discipline/function
2. You must apply as an individual, no team-ups here
3. You must apply with an idea, you will be selected based on the strength and uniqueness of the idea. Please describe it in as much detail as you can. If there are many people with the same idea, the ideas that are better thought-through and well described have a higher chance of getting selected
4. The idea can be from any domain but it must be a new idea, i.e. you have not already built a solution for this idea. Your objective at this hackathon is to develop the proof of concept for this idea quickly at the event
5. Prizes - Top 5 projects as judged by our panel will be selected and announced no later than Sep 25. Winners will receive some cool goodies

8. Official invitations will be sent out on a rolling basis, so apply early to improve your chances of receiving an invite. All invites will be sent out no later than Sep 15, 2025, 11:59 PM

FEE:
This hackathon is free to participate in but entry is only for those whose applications have been shortlisted and have received official invitations. Please note that we will not be able to accommodate any walk-ins for this event.
