Little Buddha tells the story of Jesse, a young boy from Seattle who is believed to be the reincarnation of a revered Tibetan lama. As monks journey to America to meet him, Jesse and his family are drawn into a profound exploration of Buddhist teachings. Interwoven with the legendary tale of Prince Siddhartha’s path to enlightenment, the film beautifully bridges East and West, offering a moving portrayal of wisdom, compassion, and the search for truth.
Following the screening, we’ll gather for a community potluck. If you’d like to participate, please bring a vegetarian dish to share. Kindly remember to take home any leftovers, as the Center can only keep food that is in unopened packaging.
