Hey guys! Who is excited for the 4th DEFCON Toronto Meet-up!! The group for hackers, cyber security professionals, and enthusiasts. On Oct 27th join us for some exciting cyber security talks, interactive exhibits, networking and free pizza/beer!

Please note: We will be starting a bit early this month (6pm) and with only 2 main talks scheduled, we should wrap things up pretty early.

Introducing Toronto Police Intelligence Services (C3) Computer Cyber Crimes Detective Constable - Nathan Dayler

Summary:

Det. Constable Nathan Dayler functions within the Toronto Police Service within Intelligence Services. Specifically he is currently assigned to the Computer Cyber Crime Section or C3.

The Computer Cyber Crime (C3) Section of Intelligence Services is dedicated to providing online investigative support for all members of the Toronto Police Service by using innovative technology while guided by Service Governance, Federal, Provincial and Municipal law.

Offensive Tool Agnostics - Leveraging pre-installed technologies for penetration testing against Windows and Active Directory environments - Lee Kagan

Summary:

What happens when the dependencies on common offensive tools just don't work? How do you improvise? How do you replicate a specific actor or use-case by rolling you own tools? In this talk, we'll look at the powerful and wide array of methods to conduct offensive operations against Windows ecosystems. From PowerShell and WMI / CIM, C# and .Net, Win32API and Application Whitelisting evasion, explore these techniques with live demonstrations.
