August meetup for DEF CON 512: Wednesday, August 7th, 6:30pm-10pm @ Independence Brewing
Details:
- Our August meetup this year falls during DEF CON and as such, many members will be in Las Vegas attending Hacker Summer Camp. HOWEVER, if you're still in town and want to come hang out, Independence Brewing will be hosting a movie night for DC512 featuring our favorite movie, Hackers!
- We welcome folks to come hang out, drink good beer, eat tasty food and network with other local hackers.
- As this is an informal event, there will be no talks.
-Independence Brewing has partnered with Golden Tiger, which will be open for food during the event.
Housekeeping:
-DEF CON 512 meets on the first Wednesday of every month.
-Independence Brewing has agreed to host us on a monthly basis AND they are staying open just for us. They usually close at 7:00PM-- but we can stay as late as 10:00PM for DEF CON 512.
-WE AREN'T PAYING THE VENUE! They are sponsoring us, so please pay them back with kindness and be generous with your tips.
