About us
DC610 Started as a local security meetup in February of 2017. The group quickly gained momentum and it was thought that becoming an official DEF CON group would further our goals of hacking the whole friggin planet. The group has a leadership team comprised of four of the originating members that share in the organization responsibilities such as scheduling meetings, recruiting new members, formulating talk subjects, buying the next round, etc.. We boast a total membership of 100+ members on our Meetup site, with a regular attendance of around 20 people per session buuuuut I think we can do better. :)
Areas of Interest:
Social Engineering, Cryptology, Crypto Currency, building CTFs., hacking non-standard hardware. We tend to draw people from all walks of technology, from developers to sysadmins. Our base represents a wide range range of interest and skill and we like it that way.
Yearly PubCrawl CTF:
In the Fall, we host a Hacker PubCrawl CTF in downtown Easton. 5 venues participate, but this isn't your usual pubcrawl where the focus is booze. Here, the focus is great food, great folks, and puzzles to solve! From infosec challenges, to escape-room style puzzles. Come join us!

Have you heard of Meshtastic? It's a point-to-point data network, that operates as a mesh. Each node relays to the ones it can reach! It requires no permanent infrastructure, and is completely dynamic.
Does that sound complicated? Yea, well, we thought so too. So we're working with the Make Lehigh Valley folks, to invite some folks from Philly Mesh, up to the good ol Lehigh Valley to come and help us understand, and spread the knowledge!
Join us at noon eastern, at Make Lehigh Valley, for a 2 hour workshop on what Meshtastic is, and how to participate!
