About us

I started this group because cybersecurity can often feel like a solitary or overwhelming field, whether you are just starting out or have been working in the industry for years. The goal here is to create a space where we can move beyond theory and actually get our hands on the technology. This is a monthly, low-pressure meetup where we work through open practice exercises, share what we are learning, and help each other troubleshoot challenges in a collaborative environment.

You do not need to be an expert to join us. We focus on open-source tools and ethical practice, making sure everyone feels comfortable asking questions or sharing a different approach to a problem. Bring your laptop and your curiosity, and come ready to learn alongside others who are just as interested in building their skills as you are. We look forward to meeting you and working through some puzzles together.
