Speaker Bios:
David Barreto has a M.Sc. in Systems Engineering and a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and currently works as a Developer Advocate at the Starknet Foundation. Since making a career change from web2 to web3 a few years ago, David has been focused on writing articles, tutorials, workshops and presentations to help other developers make the same transition. David’s personal mission is to "decentralize knowledge" as a stepping stone for a decentralized society and an empowered individual.
Mathieu Baril is the Co-founder and CEO of Octav, a pioneering Web3 startup specializing in deciphering and labeling blockchain transactions to facilitate enhanced comprehensibility and reporting of crypto-assets. Leveraging sophisticated machine learning, Octav stands at the forefront of addressing critical challenges in the crypto ecosystem by continuously learning and adapting from user inputs on its mission to label the entire DeFi ecosystem.
Mathieu’s professional journey started as a bio-tech engineer in Silicon Valley, where he played a pivotal role at Kinova Robotics and then Auris Health, contributing to the development and integration of innovative robotic arms. These experiences have shaped Mathieu's multifaceted perspective, blending technical proficiency with business acumen, enabling him to drive innovations and contribute significantly to diverse technological domains.
Adit Patel is the CEO and Cofounder of Blockscope. Blockscope is a no-code data platform that offers a suite of tools to understand web3 data in actionable ways. With easy to use tools for the most common use cases like monitoring for on-chain events, crypto forensics, data indexing, investigations, compliance and security!
Adit's journey to building web3 data tools comes from experience of the lack of tooling in the web3 space as a smart contract developer. By providing tools to make blockchain data understandable, Blockscope aims to bring Web3 technologies to the masses. The platform is currently used by regular crypto users, web3 businesses, and institutions. In his presentation, he will show how Blockscope tools can be utilized to investigate on-chain fund movements, monitor and protect your assets against bad actors and set up compliance for your teams.
