# Speaker Bio:
Erik Reppel is a software engineer and technology builder currently serving as Head of Engineering for the Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) at Coinbase. He has held previous roles at ZORA, Clubhouse, and Coinbase, where he has worked on machine learning tooling and platform development
Reppel holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Victoria. He is known for his work on the x402 protocol, an internet-native payment standard that reimagines the HTTP 402 "Payment Required" status code, and has been involved in promoting open standards for payments.
Beeshal is the Head of Growth at Fluid. He will provide an overview of Fluid, one of the fastest growing DeFi protocols in the world, what’s unique about it, and how that is powering its rapid growth from 100M to 6B in supply in roughly a year.
