Candlelight Fado concert & Port wine
In the elegant Boardroom at Mindspace Dam, we will bring Portugal’s soulful tradition to life in a live concert paired with Port wine.
I’m delighted to announce a special collaboration with Casa de Fado Amsterdam and Mindspace to bring an unforgettable cultural evening to life in the heart of Amsterdam.
The Boardroom at Mindspace Dam has long been a place where ideas are exchanged, strategies shaped, and voices heard. For one evening, it becomes something different: a stage for Fado, Portugal’s most soulful tradition.
Just as the boardroom gathers people around a table to connect and create meaning, Fado gathers intimate melodies, powerful voices, and stories from Portugal. In this setting, the polished elegance of the room meets the raw intimacy of song, transforming businesslike formality into cultural warmth.
18:45 – Arrival & Welcome Drink
Guests step into a softly lit venue, greeted with tea, coffee or Porto wine. A short introduction sets the cultural and emotional mood for the evening.
19:00 – Fado concert Performance (~45 mins)
A two-part acoustic fado concert, blending soulful melodies and authentic storytelling. Between songs, the musicians share the meaning and history of the pieces.
20:15 – Taste & Talk (30 mins)
The music lingers in the air as guests enjoy a warm and relaxed social moment with a curated drink selection.
Ticket price includes drinks (unlimited) & live fado concert.

What will we serve to you?
The name "Francesinha" translates to "Little Frenchie," a nod to its inspiration from the French croque-monsieur. The dish consists of a sandwich made with bread, wet-cured ham, linguiça (a type of sausage), fresh sausage like chipolata, and steak or roast meat. It's then covered with melted cheese and a hot, thick tomato and beer sauce. The sandwich is typically served with French fries and sometimes topped with a fried egg.1 attendee
