🍛 Portugal Meets India – A Cooking Workshop for Expats
📅 Friday, June 21st | 🕔 17:00 – 21:00 | 📍 Amsterdam RAI
🎟️ €39 – includes all ingredients, drinks, dessert & good vibes
Let’s mix spices, stories, and cultures — all in one evening.
We’re bringing together two rich and flavorful culinary worlds: Portugal and India. This isn’t a cooking class where you just watch — it’s a hands-on, social, and super tasty workshop made especially for expats living in Amsterdam. This workshop will be conducted by 3 native people from both Portugal and India to ensure a real cooking experience representing each culture.
Whether you love to cook or just love to eat, come join us for an evening of delicious food and new connections.
👩🏽🍳 What’s cooking?
You’ll team up with a small group and cook one Portuguese dish and one Indian dish together. Then we all sit down for a shared dinner.
Here’s a sneak peek of what we might be making:
🇵🇹 From Portugal / Ana & Pedro will be your guide:
- Pica-pau
- Arroz de pato no forno
- Maça assada
🇮🇳 From India / Sonal will be your guide:
- Chana Masala with Matar Pulao
- Chaat
- Sooji ka Halwa
💬 How it works
You’ll be placed in a group — great way to meet new people!
Each team gets ingredients, a recipe card, and a station. We’ll cook, chat and share stories while things sizzle. At the end, we’ll sit down for a big shared dinner.
Who’s this for?
Expats, internationals, locals — anyone who enjoys good food and good company. No cooking skills required, just a curious spirit (and maybe an appetite).
Spots are limited to keep it cozy — sign up soon if you’d like to join!
As soon as you confirm your interest we will reach out directly.
Cheers,
Ana & Pedro & Sonal
