DEIB Tech Talks is a community dedicated to advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) in the technology industry. Led by Francesca Pollard, a DEIB strategist with over eight years of experience, this group brings together tech professionals, leaders, and advocates to explore practical ways to build inclusive and equitable tech environments.
Francesca has spoken at global events such as Web Summit, DevOpsCon, and WeAreDevelopers, and has led initiatives that amplify underrepresented voices across engineering and leadership teams. Earlier this year, she launched this DEIB-focused community in Germany, which has quickly gained momentum – with recent sessions attracting hundreds of attendees passionate about shaping inclusive tech cultures.
The group hosts live and in-person tech talks, panel discussions, and workshops, covering topics like intersectionality, inclusive hiring practices, and embedding DEIB into tech culture. Francesca also collaborates with organizations to support equitable recruitment strategies and foster diverse, high-performing teams.
