Tech Talk: Together in DEIB

DEIB Tech Talks is a community dedicated to advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) in the technology industry. Led by Francesca Pollard, a DEIB strategist with over eight years of experience, this group brings together tech professionals, leaders, and advocates to explore practical ways to build inclusive and equitable tech environments.

Francesca has spoken at major global events such as Web Summit, DevOpsCon, and WeAreDevelopers. She has also led initiatives that elevate underrepresented voices within engineering and leadership teams. In early 2025, she launched a DEIB-focused community in Germany, which has quickly gained momentum. Recent sessions have drawn hundreds of attendees passionate about building more inclusive tech cultures, and the community is now expanding across Europe, with plans to grow into Portugal, Switzerland, and Austria next.

The group hosts live and in-person tech talks, panel discussions, and workshops, covering topics like intersectionality, inclusive hiring practices, and embedding DEIB into tech culture. Francesca also collaborates with organizations to support equitable recruitment strategies and foster diverse, high-performing teams.

With a growing network of engaged professionals and a reach of over 190,000 followers across LinkedIn, X, Meetup, and Instagram, DEIB Tech Talks offers a space to learn, connect, and make a tangible impact in tech.
