Co-work the Block: Pooling efforts, time block, common goal

ALL NEUROTYPES WELCOME

There are many touted benefits to co-working. Built on the concept of body-doubling (more than one person working together), the idea of focus and accountability (from peers) and the Pomodoro technique (timed, 40/20m) have come together with the flat movement to create a tool that is accessible to all, and more effective than you could imagine.

Join us for this think-tank session of solutioning, solving, co-creating and belonging.

Benefits:

  • Focus
  • Accountability
  • Free
  • Teamwork
  • End-Product

How it works:

  1. Dial In
  2. Declare if you have your own task or you want to work on the group effort

My own task:

  1. choose an accomplishment goal, something tangible (ex. Delete 20 emails vs. make progress)
  2. Check in at the beginning and end to say how things went

Work with group (Breakout):

  1. We'll talk about a wicked problem***
  2. You will choose an activity based on a strength you have that relates to the theme of the meeting
  3. Check in at the end with progress

**Anything you create belongs to you. If you decide to co-author/co-produce we recommend using non-disclosure clauses, bylines and signed releases of work products.
***Wicked problems are complex challenges that defy straightforward solutions. While they are inherently complex and can be perceived as 'bad' due to their complexity and often represent negative scenarios, they also present opportunities for innovation and deep understanding.
