Create machine learning models with R and Tidymodels

Get an introduction to regression models, classification models, and clustering models by using Tidymodels and R.
This meetup is in collaboration with the Statistics Analysis Bureau of Egerton University Kenya.

About DeKUT R
We host weekly physical/virtual meetups at Dedan University of Technology, which are hands-on knowledge sharing meetings designed to give you insight into what data science and machine learning with R.
We are part of the R User Groups Programs 2023 by R Consortium.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this meetup, participants will be able to:

1. Apply fundamental concepts of machine learning to real-world problems using R.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in using R for data manipulation, exploration, and visualization in the context of machine learning.
3. Develop and evaluate machine learning models using R and the Tidymodels, including classification, regression, and clustering techniques.
4. Analyze and interpret the performance of machine learning models in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and other relevant metrics.
