2021 Tubing Trip- Bring your own tube and life vest

Meeting location:

Towpath and river access parking on River Rd (Rt. 32) below the Point Pleasant pump station and above Bulls Island bridge from PA to NJ.

Meet Time is there at 10AM. I have a Burgundy Dodge Ram with racks on the bed of the truck. I will have a balloon & these signs to make it easier to find us.

Parking fills up so don’t be late there is poor signal and will be hard to call or text. We will load up cars to go to Upper Black Eddy where we will launch from.

Suggestions for a smooth trip.

1. Don’t be late 10AM at meeting location.
2. Bring tubes blown up.
3. Trip is about 4 hours
4. Bring dry bags to protect items you don’t want wet.
5. Bring shoes that can get wet. No flip flops.
6. Bring straps to attach to other tubes and your valuables to you. Your tube can float away and things sink quickly
7. There is a hot dog man where we will all stop for a food break if you are hungry. It is expensive but it is fun.
8. Bring food/snacks if you don't want to eat at the hot dog stand.
9. Bring drinking water,
10. Bring water proof sunscreen and put on before going in water. Bring to reapply if needed.
11. Bring inexpensive hats and sunglasses

13. You legally cannot drink alcohol in the parks or on the water. If you do please do so discreetly and be safe!!!!
14. There is no place to change.
15. PLEASE BRING A LIFE JACKET. I CANNOT MAKE YOU WEAR IT; BUT, I LOVE YOU ALL IMMENSELY & HOPE YOU DO!
16. BUY YOUR OWN TUBES. BUY ONE NOW IF YOU DON’T HAVE ONE!
