Hi, I’m Betsy!
I moved to Delaware over a year ago for work, but in that time, I’ve been so focused on my career that I haven’t truly taken the opportunity to build a life here. Coming from a big-city background in Chicago and later living on the Main Line in PA, I’ve missed the fast-paced environment, the constant stream of events, and having close friends nearby.
Delaware’s reputation as a “boring” state initially shaped my view, especially as I moved here with just my two dogs and limited connections. But now, I’m ready to change that perspective and give Delaware the chance it deserves—starting with making new friends.
My goal is to create a supportive circle of women where we can build real friendships. I know many of us are in similar positions, feeling the same longing for connection and community. (If we’ve crossed paths on Bumble BFF and I forgot to respond—sorry about that!)
This group is for women in their 20s and 30s looking to meet up in person—whether it’s grabbing coffee at a local café, checking out fun Delaware events, or simply enjoying good company. Let’s turn this “boring” state into a place we truly love, together.
