**Bubble Tea & Big Ideas is capped at 12 participants and often has a long waitlist. To keep things fair, you are required to update your RSVP ASAP if your plans change so others can attend. Members who RSVP “yes” and do not show up without updating their RSVP more than twice may not be able to attend future events. **

Join us for Bubble Tea & Big Ideas....a secular meet-up for people who enjoy meaningful conversation, good company, and trying new foods. We gather inside the food court of the Asian market, where you can grab bubble tea, a bánh mì, a sweet from the bakery or a small savory dinner before settling in.

Each month, we explore a different theme or question that helps us connect more intentionally and get to know one another beyond small talk. All perspectives are welcome, as long as they’re kind, curious, and respectful.

March:
Critical Thinking in a Misinformation Age

Media literacy, skepticism, and mental self-defense.
Questions:
• How do you assess whether something is true?
• What misinformation traps do you see most often?
• How do you have conversations with people who believe false claims?**

• Arrive, grab food or drinks, find a seat.
• Light chatting and settling in.

• Quick welcome and introduction to the theme/question of the night.
6:40 – 7:30 PM
• Group discussion, guided conversation prompts, or small table conversations.
• Optional share-outs.
7:30 – 7:45 PM
• Wrap-up conversation + any final thoughts.
• Time to grab final snacks or exchange contact info.
7:45 – 8:00 PM
• Pack up, clean up and say goodbyes
