Bubble Tea and Big Ideas @Christiana Mall Food Court
Details
Join us for Bubble Tea & Big Ideas....a secular meet-up for people who enjoy meaningful conversation, and good company. We gather inside the food court of the Christiana Mall, where you can grab a variety of snacks or dinner. Bubble tea, a pretzel, or a platter from the famous Suki Hana before settling in.
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Bubble Tea & Big Ideas is capped at 12 participants and often has a long waitlist. To keep things fair, you are required to update your RSVP ASAP if your plans change so others can attend. Members who RSVP “yes” and do not show up without updating their RSVP more than twice may not be able to attend future events.
Each month, we explore a different theme or question that helps us connect more intentionally and get to know one another beyond small talk. All perspectives are welcome, as long as they’re kind, curious, and respectful.

I need more topics and discussion questions for my meetup Bubble Tea and Big Ideas. This is a secular Humanist group. Each month we will have a different topic and I need one for August, September, October and November

For a secular Humanist meetup, the strongest topics are usually ones that connect philosophy to everyday life rather than abstract debates. They invite people with different backgrounds to contribute personal experiences and perspectives without requiring expertise.
Here are four monthly themes that work well together.
August: What Makes a Good Life?
Most people want to live a "good life," but we often mean different things by that. Is it happiness, purpose, relationships, achievement, service, or something else?
Discussion questions:
How do you define a good life?
Has your definition changed over the years?
Is happiness the same as meaning?
Can someone have a meaningful life without being happy?
What role do friendships and community play in living well?
What advice would you give your younger self about living a good life?
How do you hope your older self is achieving a good life?
(The mall closes promptly at 8:00pm)
