MERCER MEADOWS SPRING MORNING HIKE (MODERATE)

This 6 mile hike will Start an End at the Mercer Meadows Reed/Bryan Farm entrance pictured in the feature photo. It's located on Federal City Rd in Lawrence Twp., NJ. This is a very scenic wide rolling trail. The spring landscape adds to its natural beauty. We'll hike from the farm to Rosedale lake and back. A good place to hike in any weather. We will go down crushed gravel, paved paths and a little dirt/grass. Along tree lines, through the woods, over wooden bridges and across open fields. We'll pass Willow Pond and 2 wildlife viewing platforms which we can use. The trail can have some wet spots. I recommend hiking boots and water. At some point we'll leave a painted inspirational rock for others to find. (my trademark).There is plenty of parking and rest rooms from where we'll start and along the way.
