Washington Crossing PA/NJ Morning Hike

Details
This 4+ mile hike will Start an End at the Washington Crossing PA Visitors Center pictured in the Feature Photo. Parking is located directly across the street from the Center. It is a Flat paved and crushed stone path. Hiking shoes or sneakers both work fine. Don't forget WATER. There are 2 rest rooms in the beginning of the hike(PA opens at 10am/NJ opens around 7:30am) and a port-a-pot about half way. We'll hike at a leisurely 2 mph pace stopping multiple times to rest, take some photos or just enjoy our surroundings. Our hike will take us along the PA river path, over the Washington Crossing Delaware River Bridge on foot path, down the NJ canal path to and through Titusville along the river. We'll cross some stone bridges and go through part of the park. The scenery along the river is beautiful. Hopefully we'll spot some wildlife on our way. I usually do. I've seen Eagles and Blue Cranes there before. And early morning is a great time to do it. As always, I'll leave a painted rock to mark our presence. But keep an eye out for the one I'll leave prior to the hike. Looking for it makes the hike a little more fun. Hope you can join me. Paul # 609-540-2513.
