Winter brings different views to observe and enjoy. Especially when snow covered. And Rancocas State Park has an abundance of natural beauty. So come join in. We'll be hiking the Northern loop of Rancocas State Park. Stopping a few times to enjoy our surroundings. It's a 4 mile moderate pace hike. (2 mph). A scenic trail with woods, fields and rolling hills. Hopefully will spot some wildlife and leave a painted rock or two. Parts of the trail run along Rancocas Creek and through the nature center. The rest room there might be open. This trail has many roots and some of it will be wet. I recommend hiking boots. And a hiking stick comes in handy too. I usually use one on the trails. Don't forget water. You can dehydrate even in winter. It is a rustic trail with no restrooms, but plenty of places to sit and rest. The Hike will Start an End at the same location. Entrance is pictured in the feature photo. Using PIN should bring you right to it. I've added some pictures to give you a feel for the trail. Some are snow covered, but you get the idea. Winter hikes are invigorating. Hope you can make it. Paul contact # 609-540-2513.
