Delaware Valley VEG is dedicated to helping the Delaware Valley eat more plants for all the reasons: The animals, the environment, and health.
We welcome everyone from committed vegans to "veg-curious" folk. Through our programming, we strive to to build community, educate, increase access to vegan/plant-based food options, and HAVE FUN!
We host or participate in a ton of events, but our favorite annual events are Phoenixville VegFest and Diner en Vert.

Root Down Brewery, 1 N. Main Street ,, Phoenixville, PA, USThe fun isn't over! Join us at perennial favorite Root Down for a sampling of global street food from 6:30-8:30pm on WEDNESDAY, January 14th!!! Get your tickets by noon on FRIDAY, January 9th. ***(Note that it's not our usual Tuesday!)***
Menu:
First Course: Portobello Mushroom Street Tacos (2) - (Gluten Free) (Low spice)
Adobo-seasoned portobello, avocado, red cabbage slaw, red onion w/ cilantro lime crema on warm corn tortillas.
Second Course: Tofu & Chickpea Shawarma Bowl - (Gluten Free) (No spice)
Shawarma-seasoned baked tofu and chickpeas, Mediterranean salad mix over rice with tzatziki sauce.
Third Course: Vietnamese-Style Pho - (Gluten Free) (No spice)
Vegetable mushroom pho broth with rice noodles, Thai basil, bean spouts, white onion, cilantro.
Fourth Course: Assortment of Italian Gelato - (Gluten Free) (No spice)
Flavors TBD based on freshest available at the time.
$35/person includes tax, tip, and one nonalcoholic beverage. Cash bar.
NOTE FROM ROOT DOWN: They're sorry, but due to the large quantities being prepared while the restaurant is also open for regular business, they will not be able to accommodate special requests, substitutions, or changes to the menu as offered.
Refund Policy: We're happy to issue a refund prior to the date by which our RSVP total is due to the restaurant - the day sales end - in this case 1/9. After that, we have committed to pay for that number of meals. Thank you for understanding!
CAREFUL! Re: Tipping GiveButter: Givebutter has changed the look of the purchase process and it's easy to leave an unintended tip amount for Givebutter. On the last page, make sure that the tip amount is correct in the itemized total. If it isn't, look for where the default says that there's a 15% tip and use the down arrows to choose your intended amount.
IMPORTANT: In the event of severe weather, please keep an eye on our FB page, meetup page, your email, and/or the campaign updates. That's how we'll let you know if we have to postpone due to safety concerns. In the event of a postponement, your ticket will automatically be good for the new date. If you have a conflict for the new date, we'll happily issue a refund up until the RSVP deadline for that new date.
