10-Course Vegan Dinner at Avlos Greek Cuisine; Tix Available thru 10/7 via link.

In October, we're using our dine around slot to bring you a special 10-course vegan dinner at Avlos Greek Cuisine! Join us from 6:30-8:30 on Tuesday, October 14th! Get your tickets by noon on Tuesday, October 7th.

All 10 courses will be served family style.

Gluten free guests: Please purchase a gluten free ticket. Avlos' dessert isn't gluten free. We'll have something for you - we just need to know how many servings to make. Also, if you need a gluten free ticket and they're sold out, but the regular tickets are NOT sold out, please let me know asap. I can reassign a ticket to be a gluten free ticket.

Here's the 10-course menu:

Revithokeftedes - Chickpea keftes, tahini lemon sauce (GF)

Patatopitakia - Potato, scallions, dill, wrapped in phyllo, sesame (Contains GLUTEN)

Fava - Fava spread, caramelized onions, roasted tomatoes (GF)

Marouli Salata - Shredded lettuce, scallions, dill, lemon (GF)

Arakas - Braised pears in tomato sauce, dill, onions, garlic, potatoes (GF)

Manitaria Stifado - Mushrooms stewed, pearled onions, potato puree (GF)

Gigantes - Braised beans, spinach, lemon sauce (GF)

Pastitsio - Greek pasta tube baked with lentil ragu in hearty cinnamon tomato sauce topped with bechamel (Contains GLUTEN)

DESSERT: Galaktoboureko - Phyllo triangles stuffed with vegan vanilla semolina custard, soaked in orange syrup (Contains GLUTEN) (DVV will provide a gluten free dessert.)

$59/person includes tax, tip, and water. BYOB.

Regarding Takeout: Due to the size and complexity of the meal, and the fact that each course will be prepared fresh and in order of service, Avlos regrets that they are not able to accommodate takeout requests. All tickets sold must be for in-house dining.

Refund Policy: We're happy to issue a refund prior to the date by which our RSVP total is due to the restaurant - the day sales end - in this case 10/7. After that, we have committed to pay for that number of meals. Thank you for understanding!

CAREFUL! Re: Tipping GiveButter: Givebutter has changed the look of the purchase process and I almost left an unintended tip amount for Givebutter. On the last page, make sure that the tip amount is correct in the itemized total. If it isn't, look for where the default says that there's a 15% tip and use the down arrows to choose your intended amount.

IMPORTANT: In the event of severe weather, please keep an eye on our FB page, meetup page, your email, and/or the campaign updates. That's how we'll let you know if we have to postpone due to safety concerns. In the event of a postponement, your ticket will automatically be good for the new date. If you have a conflict for the new date, we'll happily issue a refund up until the RSVP deadline for that new date.
