With around 2 year of professional journey as a software engineer he has hands-on experience on latest technologies like Elasticsearch, SolrCloud, MongoDB, and AWS for creating large-scale and highly available data clusters, data analytics & intelligence platform.

Abstract:

Bharvi will be talking about Introduction and basic concepts of elasticsearch, it's superb features, How it beats Solr and SolrCloud, Lucene overview along with an overview of kibana. He will be also covering the versatile nature of ELK stack.

Speaker: Manoj Mohan

Bio:

An Amazon Certified Solutions Architect and have worked on various technologies for applications ranging from building custom solutions for web applications in Grails to PhoneGap to GXT.
Manoj has been presenting at various conferences like IndicThreads, GrailsConf talking about his experiences in Elasticsearch and Grails.

Abstract :

Manoj will be talking about a case study, where they used Elasticsearch in an app based on an e-commerce platform that searches across 15 million documents, spanning more than 90 Gb in less than 100 milliseconds.

He'll be discussing about the architecture, how they integrated Elasticsearch to be setup as both the database and the search engine, lessons learnt from setting up Elasticsearch in a production environment among other things.
