Abadha Foundation – Raising Awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Welcome to the official Meetup group of Abadha Foundation, a charitable trust dedicated to meaningful change in rural communities and the lives of children suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Established and registered for over nine years, our foundation works under two primary programs: Rural Development and Support for Children with DMD.
This group is specially created to raise awareness and mobilize support for children affected by DMD—a severe, progressive muscle-wasting condition. Our mission is to educate the public, unite compassionate individuals, and generate funds that directly assist with:
• Access to basic medications and therapies
• Mobility aids such as wheelchairs
• Essential healthcare support
• Community education and outreach programs
As DMD treatments can be prohibitively expensive, your support—through participation, volunteering, or fundraising—can make a significant difference in the lives of these children and their families.
Join us in spreading awareness, sharing knowledge, and building a community of hope and support.
Together, we can empower lives.
