Philanthrophy Activity to Help the society

Please note this is a not for profit group. There are no commercial activities happening here.

Who should join: Anybody who wants to volunteer for social service. There is no job or apprenticeship offer, only volunteering.

Why should members join: This platform shall give people some idea on how volunteering is done. People who do not otherwise get an opportunity to volunteer on project for socially deprived are invited. In addition we would pick up projects outside delhi and can travel.

What can members expect out of the group: Satisfaction from the selfless services provided and also get to travel to offbest and remote places.

As of now, I am organizing an adventure cum philanthropy trip. The idea is to assist an NGO working in Uttaranchal to rehabilitate the victims of natural disaster. The NGO is helping women with skill development (i.e. taught women to sew woolens) and giving scholarships to kids who lost their parent.

Maximum 10 people can be accommodated in one trip.. We shall get an opportunity to visit the village and stay in homes in villages. More number of trips can be organized depending on the number oif people interested.

All expenses will have to be borne by the group members plus in-addition to our skills we can give small contribution to the NGO to carry on their activities.
