Sufiyana Ramzan Mehfil: An Iftar Soiree of Qawwalis & Sacred Verses

In the sacred month of Ramzan.. a time of introspection, fasting and spiritual renewal, we invite you to experience our specially curated heritage walk which begins in the Sufi Spiritual Heart of Delhi.... Dargah-e-Nizamuddin!

At the magical hour of sunset, we gather within the hallowed precincts of the Hzt Nizamuddin Dargah, where rose petals perfume the air, lamps begin to give a golden glow, and whispered prayers rise gently into the evening sky. It is here, as the call for "Maghrib" (sunset prayers) echoes as they have for the last 700 years....

We then move to another specially set-up holy courtyard space next to the Dargah, where we all sit down together with our Storytellers and Qawwals to break the "Roza" fast with an exclusively curated Iftar (suitable for both meat eaters/vegetarian souls)

As the evening deepens after Iftar, the Mehfil begins! With Qawwalis and Verses ringing out in the air, that transport you into a space where faith and melody become one!

This is not just a Ramzan Walk....
It is an evening of India's shared cultural heritage, soulful poetry and living faith!

The Heritage & Culture Walk will be conducted in a mix of Urdu/Hindi and English.
