I'm super stoked to have our very own D.O. member, AnaMaria Herrera present her incredible story! Here's AnaMaria's quick bio: AnaMaria Hererra has spent over 15 years in the health care field, having experienced every role of a practice: health practitioner, manager, doctor’s assistant, and ultimately patient. Wanting a break from the healthcare field, she started a new career in the wild world of the web, later developing her own business, which assists health care professionals with online marketing.

She became patient once again after she was diagnosed with an autoimmune illness. Numerous doctors, both Western and alternative, told her countless times: “Your illness is incurable.” However, AnaMaria is proving that the body can indeed heal itself and is dedicated to sharing about autoimmune conditions and how to reverse them.

When she’s not researching or teaching about Autoimmunity, you can find her either on her surfboard, cooking delicious meals while listening to podcasts, or checking out D.I.Y. videos online.
