About The Film

Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things examines the many flavors of minimalism by taking the audience inside the lives of minimalists from all walks of life.

From minimalist architects, designers, and musicians, to businessmen, authors, and minimalist families, this film explores various recipes for how to live a more meaningful, deliberate life. Not a perfect life, not an easy life—a simple one.

//

Ok, so maybe you're asking...wtf is Minimalism?

The Minimalist Answer:

Minimalism is a lifestyle that helps people question what things add value to their lives—clearing the clutter from life’s path so we can make room for the most important things.

//

Minimalism is a movement I've personally been associated with since 2010. I hold it near and dear to my heart and is something I currently practice. If you're even remotely interested in learning how to live a more meaningful life, then this is something I urge you to look into.

I look forward to sharing more upcoming events soon about my journey becoming a minimalist--having 4 yard sales, donating/giving away tons, and still being able to clear away 20+ boxes of shit. There's much more to Minimalism than just the clutter aspect, but I've found many people start there and it becomes a snowball effect. More on that to come soon!

I hope y'all can check out the documentary--RSVP and we can work out a carpool for those interested!

Cheers!
Gabrielle
