Delray Beach on the Beach Meetup - Season III* - **

* There is a $10 seasonal fee (now thru Sept 26) for attending our group which can be either paid in full at or prior to the first beach meetup of the season that you attend, or for newbies/snowbirds $5 up front and another $5 before our season ending BBQ/Pool/Party. We are also waiving the start of the seasonal fee for all newcomers when they attend their first event. So to all newcomers, come and try our beach meetup for free. If you like it, then pay our seasonal fee the next time you come! You may pay in cash or Venmo to: Marshall Tack or 561-654-5927. If using Venmo state that its for Beach Meet Up 2023.

Bring whatever makes you comfortable; chair, blanket, towel, food, snacks, drink for yourself or to share (bring xtra layers in the early spring as the evening hours cool down dramatically at the beach). We meet at the southern end of Delray Public Beach near Anchor Park on the beach at water's edge in front of Lifeguard Station 5. Metered parking is available in Anchor Park till 8pm (you must vacate before dusk) or metered street-side till 8pm with no duration limit.
As for weather and notification of cancellations; we live close to the meetup location and monitor forecasts and radar closely. Final determinations for cancellation are made at or before 5pm and posted in comments. You will receive official notification of cancellation from meetup but only if you posted that you are coming and that you allow notifications in your privacy settings (that is why it is always preferable to post that you are coming).
