Now, in light of this year’s revelations about the misuse of personal user data, cyber threats to elections, and upcoming GDPR policy implementation, we are at a turning point as to how data-driven technologies and AI will shape the future.
How can we ensure that the development of sophisticated machine intelligence is framed by ethical, human-first, boundaries? What will “transparency” mean in a world driven by AI systems that feed on sensitive data? Why should humanistic design and inclusive education be essential components in such conversation? Morgan.
