TransitieCinema is the monthly event where we watch a documentary together! After the movie there will be experts for a discussion and social drinks!
Den Haag in Transitie is a grassroots movement that facilitates the local community in the Hague to come together and make positive changes in the way we live and work. These changes include greening of city districts, exchanging services, the conscious use of energy, waste and consumption and an active civil society.

The global multi-crisis is accelerating. How they function, what they deliver and how they are designed is not really part of our public conversation.

The economic system that is running our societies has a very narrow focus: We must “grow the GDP”, i.e. make more money, no matter the cost. This logic is now tearing our societies and our planet apart rather than improving our lives. No one seems to be working on a viable political alternative. What if there are people working on a solution, but we’ve just not been paying attention?
Purpose chronicles the work that Katherine Trebeck and Lorenzo Fioramonti have been doing to introduce “Wellbeing Economics” into politics. Their ambitious political projects aim to create a real alternative to the destructive logic of our current economic model. “System Change Not Climate Change” is one of the key demands of the climate movement. Purpose shows what that looks like in reality.
