TransitieCinema: Facing Animals

TransitieCinema: Facing Animals

Details

We will celebrate the World Animal Day in the week of our next cinema! World Animal Day gives attention to improving the animal welfare standards around the world.

TransitieCinema (https://www.facebook.com/TransitieCinema/) invites you to watch and discuss the movie "Facing Animals". This is a documentary about the complex and often bizarre relationship between man and animal. Why do we look away from millions of animals in industrial farms while pampering and humanizing others?

Our special guest will be the director of the documentary, Jan van IJken. He will tell us more about his experience with making this movie.

As usual the movie is screened in Het Nutshuis (https://www.facebook.com/hetnutshuis/), the doors will open at 19.00. The movie will start at 19.30. Admission is for free, but make sure to arrive on time, when the movie starts the doors will be closed!

After the movie there will be the possibility to have drinks at Juni Café in Het Nutshuis (https://www.facebook.com/Juni-Caf%C3%A9-in-Het-Nutshuis-1636745366542470/) and discuss the movie.
