Hello Sci-fi lovers,

Our 6th book is "A Memory Called Empire", A Memory Called Empire is a political space opera and murder mystery set in a massive interstellar empire called Teixcalaan. The main character, Mahit Dzmare, is sent as ambassador from a tiny independent mining station to the imperial capital after her predecessor dies under suspicious circumstances. Once there, she gets pulled into court politics, succession crises, espionage, and questions about identity, memory, and colonialism

Arkady Martine is the pen name of AnnaLinden Weller, an American author and Byzantine historian. She studied at the University of Chicago, University of Oxford, and Rutgers University.
