Details
Meet up at 9:15am at the old Fresh Foods IGA parking lot, (across from the Sly Fox, in Southern Pines @ 740 SW Broad St.). Then @ approx 9:30am, caravan together to Lake Johnson Waterfront Center in Raleigh, NC (63 miles from Southern Pines). Bring with you a Personal Floatation Device, an anchor if desired, and whatever else makes sense for being on the water for a few hours in the summer heat!
We will leave Southern Pines, NC by approx 9:30am, get to Lake Johnson Waterfront Center around 10:30am and be done paddling as a GROUP by 1:00pm'ish, others may stay as long as you wish. For those of you that wish to join that do not live in the Southern Pines area, feel free to meet us at the lake! Just drop a message so we know to look for you once we get there. 😊
