Details

Travel around the world across 5,000 years of history of art and antiquities at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Join us where yesterday meets today.
Not only is The Metropolitan Museum of Art one of the premiere institutions in the world for viewing arts ranging from ancient times to the present, it is also one of the most beautiful spaces to photograph as well!

During this special field trip, you'll learn not only how to photograph the impressive architectural spaces the museum has to offer but also take a tour through art of The Ancient World and The Renaissance to see how those periods influence modern photography techniques and composition.

Topics covered include low-light photography, storytelling through architectural and candid photography, dynamic composition, linear perspective, atmospheric perspective, light and shadow interaction, Rembrandt lighting, and framing

To attend you must pre-register through our website. Workshop price includes museum admission.
