Our second presenter is Desiree Townsend of Yay! Gifts and Cards

Title: The Business of Appreciation: Why Being Remembered Is a Growth Strategy

Most professionals genuinely want to thank clients, recognize employees, and strengthen relationships—but good intentions often get pushed aside by busy schedules.

In this presentation, Desiree Townsend explores why appreciation isn't simply a nice gesture—it's a practical business strategy that builds trust, encourages referrals, and creates lasting loyalty.

Attendees will discover simple, actionable ways to make appreciation part of their everyday business, without adding another overwhelming task to their to-do list. They'll leave with fresh ideas they can immediately apply to clients, referral partners, employees, volunteers, and prospects.

Desiree's bio:

Desiree Townsend is the Founder & Creative Director of Yay! Gifts and Cards, a Colorado-based business that helps organizations turn appreciation into meaningful action through personalized gifts, greeting cards, and live on-site engraving experiences.

A former marketing professional and the 2025 Solopreneur of the Year for the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce, Desiree believes that people don't remember every conversation they have—but they do remember how someone made them feel.

Through speaking, consulting, and creative gifting, she helps businesses build stronger relationships by making appreciation personal instead of promotional.

Guests are always welcome! No cost to attend our engaging meetings. However, we do ask that you support our host location by purchasing the lunch of your choice.
