According to Alltrails.com This is a nice, calm hike. The trail is nice because it spends some time winding up into the woods, then has some mild ups and downs separated by long flat periods. The trail itself is well maintained, with a clear path and small gravel where appropriate. It's well-marked and has a handful of shaded benches to pause and drink.

Let's enjoy an easy-going hike so we can still spend our time chatting easily, getting to know one another, and not get too hot or tired for the evening ahead.

EVENING MUSIC, FOOD AND DRINK downtown, approximately @ 4:30pm
We can head to some live music in the town after we get our exercise and nature fix. Perhaps a little venue hopping since the weekend in Evergreen is the rodeo weekend!

We can catch Drew Dvorchak Band at Cactus Jack's Saloon until 6pm.
