Fruita MTB getaway 2021 - May 10-12, as the vaccines work!!!

Details
Typical rides here are at the "BLUE" level. Trails will be around the P3, T3 level, depending upon individual choice. Or could perhaps be a bit higher, depending on miles ridden and/or if hot weather exists.
Three of our favorite moderate trail ride days:
Monday afternoon - Mary's Loop, Steve's option add on
1:30 PM, meet at the Kokopellis Trailhead. This trailhead is located on the southwest side of I-70 Exit 15, about 4 miles west of Fruita. If driving from Denver to the west, take the exit 15, turn left to cross to south side of I-70, continue to the frontage road, then go right on that county road. There is a brown info sign pointing to the trailhead, about 1/4 mile away, a bit below the highway weigh station.
Tuesday - either Lunch Rocks or Western Rim
Western Rim Trail is located at Rabbit Valley. From Fruita, drive I-70 about 17 miles west to Exit 2. Like above, cross over I-70. Pass by the wide parking area and over the cattle guard, follow the dirt road to a "Y" intersection and go left. Perhaps about 100 yards around the corner from that "Y" is another parking area with rest rooms, meet there.
Wednesday morning - Road 18 Book cliffs
Meet in downtown Fruita at 10:00 AM, near or around the Over the Edge Bike Shop.
A maybe thought for now. More details will be coming, soon....
