Rotella Park to Sand Creek and Northfield Loop with Fred

9:00 AM FUN H1 - 25miles NE Rotella Park to Sand Creek and Northfield Loop Meet Fred Tarbell (630-888-5290) at Rotella Park, 1824 Coronado Pkwy N. Denver (East end at shelter one) We will connect to the Niver Creek bike path and ride East to South Platte trail junction. South on Platte bike path to left over Clear Creek bridge to Denver. Follow Platte bike path South to the Sand Creek trail junction on left. Follow Sand Creek trail to the Sand Creek Greenway and do a big loop around urban Central Park. At 13 miles a midride stop at Starbucks for bathroom and refreshment. After our break we continue along Central Park Blvd to the North Field Mall. We extend our ride by another loop around urban Prairie Basin and Meadow Basin Parks. Return on Sand Creek to Twin Lakes for recovery, socializing, and lunch that you brought. Bring money for your Starbucks break.
