Third time's the charm! Yes, part 2 hasn't happened yet but it will soon so why not schedule the next Mike Leigh theme in celebration of the fact that he will have a new film coming out this year!!
Mike Leigh has given us some of the most acclaimed female performances in all of contemporary cinema, due to the unusual nature of his filmmaking process. We're looking at 3 films that are centered primarily on women particularly of their lives in the city. As usual, expect some complicated drama and of course, powerhouse performances.
