Is Freemasonry the Path of Knighthood?
Details
June's study is conducted by Bro. Isaac Levy discussing the question: "Is Freemasonry the Path of Knighthood?"
Synopsis:
Are chivalry and honor necessary in today's modern world or are they a relic of the past? This month's study will focus on the story of Saint Seiya, a Japanese comic about a group of boys who are destined to defend the goddess Athena in her quest to protect the peace and love of the planet. Join us as we follow these young knights and the trials they face as they learn the meaning of chivalry, duty, brotherhood, and honor. Freemasonry is an ancient brotherhood tasked with promoting the evolution and prosperity of humanity. Is Freemasonry a path of knighthood?
Mission Statement:
The Masonic Philosophical Society embraces the concept of learning, not for school, but for life, and believes that all men, who seek it, deserve access to continued education. We further embrace the concept of a community environment where ideas can be shared and debated in an open forum. From the seven liberal arts to the arcane, we seek to gain and share the knowledge that is the legacy of mankind.
