Meet Your Guide:
Juliet Ortiz is an accomplished Denver - based ultra / endurance trail + technical alpine runner with over ten years of experience mastering the rugged terrain of Colorado’s high country, the technical trails of the East Coast’s historic Franconia Notch in Lincoln NH, and the Middlesex Fells trail system in Massachusetts, where her love of trail running began. With an impressive race portfolio that includes the successful completion of multiple 50Ks, a 50-miler in Pine, the 21.5 mile Wapack & Back trail race in MA, the San Diego Marathon, and a podium finish for the 30-39 year age group at the Black Hawk Half Marathon, Juliet brings a wealth of knowledge regarding endurance training, injury prevention, recovery, and race-day strategy! Her holistic approach integrates strength and mobility protocols, trail-specific nutrition that supports hormonal / gut health, and technical up & downhill running techniques to support sustainable, high-performance running.
Juliet is also the founder of Loyal Hound Inc., a renowned, multi-location company rooted in her entrepreneurial spirit, adoration for the human/k9 connection, and passion for cultivating community.
She lives to share these kinds of joyful experiences with fellow purpose-driven athletes and creative visionaries—especially those who view the trail and endurance sports as both a challenge and a catalyst for transformation.

A mandatory gear list will be provided, as we’ll be exploring high alpine trails where conditions can shift quickly.
