Greetings gentlemen,
I am posting this notice to let everyone know that I will be pausing the Mile High Men's group for a time.
For those of you who showed up to our group as you did, and courageously shared your struggles with us, I thank you. It's not an easy thing to share deeply personal issues with a group of strangers, but you did it, and for that you should be congratulated.
I am presently writing a book about raising boys into good men. Every month at our meeting, I saw in you the qualities that I write about - a willingness to set your ego aside for your own greater good, bravery in facing your personal battles, encouraging the men around you with your questions and wanting to know more of their story, and allowing your greater humanity to shine through.
Perhaps one day we will cross paths again... In the meantime, I wish you greater self-knowledge, a willingness to ask the difficult questions that can lead to clarity about your place in the world, and the bravery to challenge the status quo.
