Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria with Joan Godbolt, MA, LPC
Details
Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) is an intense emotional reaction to perceived criticism, rejection, or failure, and it is especially common in adults with ADHD and trauma histories. In this presentation, we will explore what RSD is, how it shows up in real life and relationships, and why it can feel so overwhelming and personal. We will also talk about what is happening in the nervous system, how RSD is different from being “too sensitive,” and practical tools that can help when emotions, self-criticism, or avoidance show up.
