Denver Metro Polyamory Group (DMPG)

After 16 years, the time for change has come.
Meetup, the public face of the DMPG, has made some changes over the past couple of years and does not seem to be meeting our needs any longer. Costs have risen and functionality has been removed to the premium tier membership. New member join requests are down as well from an average of 30 per month to about 15. It seems that Meetup is becoming more of a Legacy site with newer poly’s and younger folks using other platforms as often happens with social media. As a result, I plan to shutdown the DMPG Meetup group the end of this year, December 2025.

The DMPG isn’t going away. I’m still poly, still committed to the local community, but simply want to shift focus. This decision isn’t driven by drama—it reflects the evolving poly community and my desire to give members more control and ownership. My goal is to make it easier for people to find us, invite friends, and host or organize events.
