Hi everyone!

Let's check off those bucket-list items and meet up on the slopes this month! You've been wanting to try - now's the time!!

The meeting time will be at 8:30 am at the Loveland VALLEY (NOT loveland basin) base lodge. It's the perfect time to come out, warm up with some coffee + donuts and meet some new beginner riders in a safe and fun environment.

(Rough) Agenda:

  • 8:30 - 9:15(ish) - Meet @ Base Lodge | Coffee + Donuts + Chill Time
  • * Lesson check in is typically at 9am for anyone doing a lesson
  • 9:30 - 12:30 | Ride (....fall gracefully)
  • 12:30 - 1:30 (ish) | Lunch (or Head Home)

Lessons at Loveland Valley usually begin around 10am with a recommended 9am check-in time. If you decide to do a lesson on this day, you'll have tons of time to still meet and hang with everyone before you start. The event will end prior to lesson end, but some people may hang around longer throughout the day.

I'll try to align the end of this meetup with the lunch break for lesson people, in case we all want to link up over lunch.

I will plan 2-3 more "formal" mountain days as part of the group and 3-4 more in-city hangouts. There are opportunities to meet other members on ad-hoc mountain days in our What's App.

Key Details:

  1. Loveland Valley includes rental gear with your lesson. You will need to get some of the basics, but they do provide a good amount of gear if you're getting started.
  2. If you aren't taking a lesson, Loveland Valley tickets (beginners area only) are $50 for the day. You do get access to the magic carpet lifts and beginner hills, chair lifts 3 and 7 and three runs (green and blue rated) to practice on.
